Alright time for another question because I know little about cars and I'm a tight *** about buying things... does anyone have any opinions or experience with the Cat4Ward JBA headers?? (Titanium Ceramic) If so that would be awesome for the help all I've done to my stang so far is dual exhaust I want to keep doing things to it as my own project.

the jba headers are great... I have the titanium finish, ceramic coated too. They really bring out the tone in your exhaust note and provide a modest performance boost. My installer said they went on perfectly and fit and finish was excellent.

I noticed that the ones flapjack found on ebay are the nickle chrome plated variety. These commonly see a price difference of a couple hundred less than the ceramic variety (whether titanium or silver ceramic).

Why the big price difference? I don't care about looks because the headers are largely invisible except looking down into the engine compartment, but if there are longevity issues with the chrome plated steel, then I would have to consider shelling out for the ceramic ones.

The titanium and other expensive coatings help in heat dissipation and in the looks department since they age better than chrome. In my opinion the chrome coating is fine , might get a bit rusty after a few years but will work fine. I got ceramic coated bassanis on my 00 GT and they look as good as they did 3 years ago when i installed them. Good price on those JBAs , i would love to see a dyno on these headers alone, i guess a lot of us do, jeje.

5.0 magazine did a dyno of the jba's in tandem with the jba cat-back muffler, diablosport tuner, and a CAI recently, all of that on an automatic v6 had the car doing 193 rwhp.
