lol i know how you feel, iwas the onyl with the black pony at my college.. then second semester rolls by and hte day after i put my car away, a black vert GT with a roush wing shows up.. lol i was like im happy i put my car away for the winter lol


but here in ottawa for somereason it seems to be the trend to winter drive yur convertibles... likei mean everymustnag int eh winter is a soft op, and all the hard tops are put away lol

hey for all you know he saw YOUR car and was like "holy **** That is one GORGEOUS car! i have to get me one of those!" and so he did. it could just be one big compliment! ive only seen 2 other new stangs at my campus... one the legend lime, one the torch red but theirs are 05s, mines an 06 with the pony package so they are set apart. but he may have just liked your car so much that it inspired him to get one. it's a compliment. if its not, he just wanted a mustang in the same color, no biggie. it's not something you should get your panties in a twist over.

I work in a corporate office building of about 400-500 people. There are four '05-06 Mustangs in our lot: mine (satin silver V6), a torchfire red V6, a black GT convertible and a satin silver GT hardtop. And actually, given the fair price of Mustangs (especially compared to similar type vehicles), I'm personally surprised I don't see more. Personally, I think it's cool when I see another Mustang in our lot. That's one less Accord or Camry I have to see. Makes for a good conversation ice-breaker as well.

could have just been what was at the dealership and he liked it and said... alright, maybe not exactly the color i want but it does look good... and/or he got a great deal on it, lol

sounds like just bad luck cause not too many ppl w/ tungsten grey. got mine with a black top and tan int. it's probably the only one.

I would just view that person as a fellow Mustang enthusiast, who happens to like the same color as you. To me, there's not much more to it than that. There are only 10 colors to choose from, so you will run in to your cars "twin" every now and then unless you do some unique modding, as some of the previous posters suggested.
To me, I would just think, "wow... that person must be cool like me..." LOL!

But seriously, if I were dead set on one particular color, I wouldn't let the fact that someone else near me has that same color influence my decision. But that's just me.
