RE: finally, springs and pony grill installed
I've been considering the pony package grille myself, But I want to know
from somebody who has it if the fog lights are really helpfull when driving?
Would I be better of with the GT grille? I have a few other ideas about what
I want to do to my car, But those are TOP SECRET....[sm=icon_rock.gif]

RE: finally, springs and pony grill installed
honestly I have only driven at night once since I put them in and that was in a very lit area the whole time. The main reason I got them is because I couldn't see on the sides when I was turning in dark parking lots, but now I think I would have put it in just for the look.
omer333 look at the beginning of the post, has price and where I bought them

I have been struggling with the decision to change out my billet grill (which I love) for the Pony grill (which I think looks very retro and very cool). How much trouble was it to install?

RE: finally, springs and pony grill installed
since most GT owners keep the midpipe and change the H and axle back mufflers, you can purchase the mid pipe for duals from Kevin on this site (clevparts)...he'll also have the assorted clamps and hangers available much cheaper than your local dealer. GT mufflers will fit onto the v6, but you'll need a muffler shop to fabricate the connection from the v6 "Y" pipe to the new duals; either a "H" or a "X" pipe.

Thanks for the advice whatdaproblem. I left off the bottom billet in my attempt to go as slealth as possible with my basic black scheme. My intention during this mod process is to build a "sleeper" that is equal to the 1999-2004 stock GT's. Most of the data I have seen shows the stock pre-2005 GT's at around 210HP at the rear wheel. I pulled 208.4HP at the rear wheel at the dyno on Friday. I'm looking forward to my first chance to test my theory at the local redlight one day soon. Your car looks great as is to me.
