Default Short tube or Long Tube Headers

I have heard that I should get short tube headers because they would give me more low end torque, and I have also heard that long tube would be better for my nitrous set-up. Does anyone know which would be better for my listed mods? Any info would be great.

Is it true that with long tube headers it removes the cats?

I believe so b/c the cats are directly hooked to our cats. So if you want to get long tube headers than it would be best to get JBA's long tube pipeing to fit their long tube headers.

I think I will just go with the JBA shorty headers that way I dont have to get rid of the cats. Without the cats I wont pass emissions correct?

I think you'll be very happy with the shorties... they'll really open up your exhaust note.
