I have to take my baby in
Some weird stuff has been happening to my radio (or at least I think it is my radio). This has been going on intermittently for about 3 weeks. I hear this popping noise from my speakers when I'm listening to a CD and everything goes crazy. All of my idiot lights goes on and the radio freaks out and resets itself. I have never heard this as part of the radio recall. So I need to bring my car in and get it chekced out. I hope it is the radio becuase if it's electrical or a voltage issue, I don't know what to think.

have you tried disconnecting the battery cables and leaving them off for a while? Sometimes that will fix electronic problems.

Cool, thanks!
I figured it was either them, or Victor Ford. When I used to take my last car there, I'd see some pretty hopped up (looking, at least) Mustangs in the shop there, and I know they were one of the few SVT dealers in the area. Their parts dept. sucks though. This piece broke off the dashboard in my Escort, so I wait three weeks for "The Boss" (that's how the guy introduced himself, and that's all I ever knew the guy as...seriously!) to tell me that "he couldn't find it." So, I go to AH Ford, the guy there does like three clicks with the mouse, points to the monitor and says, "is that the part?" Yup...sure enough...found it in about 30 seconds. I've had reservations about Victor since that incident.
