I have compiled a list of some new aftermarket products for the v6.


Give me your opinions and feedback.

Granatelli Single 70MM Throttle Body 05-06 Mustang V6
Single 70MM blade design fits 2005-06 V-6. Direct OEM replacement, won’t void your factory warranty. Improves mileage and throttle response. Fits stock manifold, stock & aftermarket cold air intakes. 11 HP and 11 ft.lbs. torque. Ideal for modified engines.
6061-T6 billet aluminum construction. Durable anodized finish w/laser engraved logo (natural finish only, blue shown not available). Includes all necessary hardware. Installs in approximately 45 minutes using basic hand tools.

The throttle body, yes, absolutely! Especially with a power adder. It could make a huge difference. I'm probably going to get one.

Under drive pulleys don't give you that much hp in the real world, and could cause huge problems. Bad idea IMO.

Shifters help out a great deal, I've heard good things about these. I have an auto so i can't chime in personally!

why does everybody want a new throttle body so bad... when it comes to this part of my car intelligence, i'm not very intelligent. Whats the point?

It flows more air. Just think of your engine as a big air pump. The more efficiently you can move air in and out the more HP and torque it's going to make. The fuel is there mostly to ignite the air. If you think about it this way, it's easy to see what makes power. HTH!

Bigger TB is great when it comes to improving top end but at lower range probably will not make much of a difference. I believe you will loose a bit of low end power but will feel improvement at higher RPM. My 2cents :-) I am still interested in one but want to make sure folks understand that larger TB will not yield improved acceleration from stand still and might even loose some but for racing it will make a world of difference with 11hp gain.

Right. Like I said in my first post, it would be great for those with power adders.
