yea you love the msp's until you blow a rod. Best handling fwd car ever and decent power, but mazda just slapped a turbo at 6.5psi on a normal protege engine. i was running 7.5 psi when my block turned into swiss cheese. that is why i am done with turbos and i want a mustang. lol. SCREW YOU MAZDA!

That's a good time you got jericho, how many runs did it take, and how did you launch? It makes me happy knowing I can take off at least another 2 tenths by just practicing.

god damn 15.2 on a stock auto? i thought the manuals ran like 15.3 stock. really good times man, keep up the good work. of course i ran a 0-blow up my engine in 4 seconds in my msp...first my lsd broke and then my engine popped like some poppy **** with butter. you cant compete with that- 2 booms in 10 seconds

Took me 5 runs and when i got 15.2 i just called it a night. Runs were 15.61,15.43,15,.48,15.45 and then 15.28..i launch brake tourquing at about 2k, on the 15.6 i launched too high and spun, i also borrowed some ice from a friend in an SRT-4 and iced down the engine before the 15.2 so that helped i guess, and i prolly got a bit lucky...my average time was like 15.4. Another s197 v6 was running mid 14's, on the 2 runs i saw. He had duel exhaust, alot more prolly but thats what i saw, can't say if it was auto or manual though.

Are the 17" tires better then the stock 16" ones, because these def weren't made to track!

13.5@100MPH. Mods to get that: 100 shot of Zex, PowerHouse CHE LCAs, M&H drag radials, 3.73 gears and a TrueTrac LSD. Even though 13.5 sounds good, I was still spinning in first and second gear with the drag radials. I'm going to work on my launch and mess with the tire pressure a bit, I'm sure I can knock off a few 1/10s off that time.
