v6 Charger
Any idea what the new ones run? Guy at work keeps talking trash saying why did i buy a girlie shopper car instead of real american muscle like him, dumbass...i lookes up the specs and its 250/250 but weighs a load, like 3,800 lbs, but i can't find any 0-60 times or 1/4, anyone know? I'm guessing high 15, low 16 sec 1/4 and i'll take him...
Oh he also said it's a fact the new Mustang v6 runs high 16's...lol

Ask him why he didnt buy american muscle as well, because his 4 door sedan is anything but a muscle car.

RE: v6 Charger
From auto consumer guide regarding the 2006 V6 Charger (maybe not the most accurate, but it'll give ya a ballpark)
[The 3.5 V6 is OK in town, but has only adequate passing punch. Dodge claims 9.3 sec 0-60 mph.]
You'll beat him by nearly a second and a half.... that's family car slow... my wife's Pontiac Vibe with a K&N intake would keep up.

And I think everyone else has adequately addressed the obvious paradox of some four-door, grocery-grabber-driving guy questioning the muscle car characteristics of a Mustang. He's basically driving a rebodied INTREPID, renamed the Charger, so the "muscle car" heritage of his ride is even more questionable than a V6 powered Mustang.
And anyway, what IS a "muscle car" by his definition? The new Chevy Impala comes with a V8, AND has the name to establish the historical link, but I don't consider THAT (or the '95-'96 version for that matter) to be a muscle car either. It's a souped up FAMILY CAR, just like the Mercury Merauder (however that's spelled).
