how hard was it to get in?? wher did you have to cut?? befor i try it i would like to know what im in for...

That's what I'm going to do to my yellow tang.

I had to cut a 1 1/4" strip out of the bottom radius on each side since the GT grille does not taper in like the V6 does. I had to do that to give it some clearance. it was still a tight fit, it took paitence and some cussing. and the lower front edge sticks out over the fascia a little bit more than the V6 does but unless you know what to look for you wouldnt notice .

i think you should get an aftermarket or GT bumper for that... the v6 bumper looks so goofy with those big fogs on top [8D] But that just my opinion... if you like the way it looks then stick with it. Its your stang!

clean instal tho, looks professional.

been there & done that!!I put A gt grill in my V6 stang,Like you said,It wasn't easy,but I got it in & like the look as well!!
of Course I didn't know they didn't fit in the v6 grill till after I bought one!!If I would have known,i would probably got A Street Scene grill instead.

exactly !!!!! a freind of mine called me from a show and told me he found them there and said he would get it for me if I payed him back. so there was no returning it I was a nervous wreck when I had to cut the releif in the fascia , the car only has 1000 miles on it !!!!!! no guts no glory I guess .
I like it anyways.
BTW those blue stripes on your car look great , my son has been begging me to stripe mine .

I hear there is a guy who makes a harness for doing this swap , anyone have info on how to contact him ????

I am not sure about the wiring harness's for these things,I did not use an aftermarket one.I used one of those small round rocker switches installed next to my light switch,It has a blue led light when the lights are on and looks great,you can't even tell it is not factory.and also my fog lights are wired in direct.It was alot cheaper than buying A gt light switch and harness. Glad you like my stripes they are a kit from Graphic Express that I had put on.I will eventually replace my grill with one from street scene eventually.
