Default ADVICE ON RIMS

I was wondering what you guys and gals think about black rims with a white mustang?? My tax return should be coming in soon and I want to buy new wheels and tires before i have a tune and CAI. I haven't seen too many white mustangs around so its been hard to judge what looks best. Thanks...

i personally think that there is a bit too much clash in the black on white

there is a guy with white bullits on his white stang, that looks really good

i'll have to agree with chrisc; black clashes w/ wite. But i believe if you where to put chrome bulllits on it, that would look sexy. If you go the chrome route, i would advise you to look into a chrome bullit grille, chrome gas tank & side mirrors. I think the all chrome theme would look sexy. Or you can try many gun metal rims

I agree; the black on white will look bad. Go gun metal bullit's or chrome, but stay away from all that other chrome stuff, it will start looking too cheap.

Well i think i may be able to help you. My car is performance white, i got the 17 premiun wheels but have been looking to upgrade to 18 inchers. My friend just got an black vert 06 with the chrome bullits in 18 . I mounted them on my car and they looked horrible , i definitely dont like chrome with white. They look much better on the black vert. I am getting the bullits from fod 18 x 8.5 in black , black and white does look good , specially on a lowered car. I got the 10 inch black stripes from end to end and tinted windows so everything on the car is either black or white, its a matter of taste i guess.Good Luck with your decision.

Get a set of 15x3 1/2 front rims and some 15x10's for the back.... You can pick the brand...

Thanks for the advice. Exactly what is gun metal?? Is it the color or the actual type of metal used?? Also is there a difference between polished wheels and just regular chrome wheels? What size would you guys and gals go for with our Mustangs 17 or 18??? (Sorry for all the questions)

go 18 x9 front and 18 x 10 deep dish rear. That would look sexy on whatever type of rim you choose. Gun metal is a type of paint

I dont see how 18" polished bullitts made my car look bad so I'll have to disagree with "Puerto Rico 4.6"

I love them.

Hey, Furinox, can you post some more pics of your car. Especially side pics. (love the exhaust by the way)
