Default Questions about driving/fog lights

Okay,

I think I have the lights I want to use in my custom grille. I would like opinions but keep in mind that I do NOT want GT style lights.

I have some questions on the aiming of the lights. Does anyone think it would be that big a deal to have them "toe" out a little along the angle of the grille? I have devised a method to mount them where they will be creating a flush beam as opposed to the beam where the lights would point outward towards the sides of the road (which they would do if mounted flush with the angled grille). I have never installed any kind of fog or driving lights before. The instructions are pretty clear...I just was wondering what the effect of NOT having the lights facing straight ahead would be.

Here is a pict of them facing forward.

If you aimed them outward, the driver's side light could potentially blind oncoming vehicles.

They don't really "aim" outward much. They would just follow the natural angle of the grille which puts them a few degrees out...but the point down also because of the way the grille is angled downward too. I guess I'll have to fab something up to hold them in temporarily and go ahead and run the wiring and all. That way I can SEE where the light is shining and how they look coming down the road. I was really, really trying to get them all set and mounted permanently before wiring them up.

Those are just your standard 4" SUV fog light. I got them off of eBay. They are made by BlazerTech and are actually very, very good quality!

See above for the brand of lights. The PIAA lights in the CS6 grille are smaller 2" lights. I wanted something bigger than that but smaller than the 6" GT lights. The lights I started out with were some small projector halo lights that size...but I didn't like the way they looked. I then tried some 3" lights, but broke one. I settled on these bluish 4" lights. I made the grille by hand. I have some chrome rings that cover the grommets but can't decide whether to use them or not. Once the lights are in permanently then we can worry about that.

Here is what it has looked like for the last two weeks or so:

Did you have to cut your grill to make them fit, or did you modify a GT grill.

I bought a V6 grille off ebay and cut it. That way if I screwed it up at least I had the original one!
