RE: Procharger psi...what's safe for a daily driver?
I believe the t-lok is generally regarded to be able to hold up 300 rwhp. Just my opinion, but I'd go with the True-Trac if you're supercharging.
Thanks hamidlmt.
I can't wait for the X-Charger to come available!!! [sm=drooldude.gif]

once mine is tuned and completed it will be a 9 psi kit with a 2 core.. the 2 core is suppose to be good up to like 400 hp i think.. over that I will need to go to 3 core . is what i was told.

RE: Procharger psi...what's safe for a daily driver?
I asked Doug about a safe psi for our 4.0L's. Here's his response...
[As for the durability of the 4.0 it will last just fine as long as you keep it in good tune. Once you install the ProCharger then take it to the dyno to ensure the a/f ratio is right in line with what it should be. If you keep a good a/f ratio and safe timing level then I see no problems with running a 9psi kit for a long time.]
He also went on to add this interesting tidbit...
[If you're willing to wait a month or so I will have one out on the market myself, or rather using a new company that I already do the tuning for. It is a VERY reliable Eaton based kit and is designed for the long life. Eaton is the style supercharger that Ford uses on all of it's production vehicles.
Thanks, Doug.]
one month... procharger... x-charger... anyone want to add up some pros and cons of each unit...?

RE: Procharger psi...what's safe for a daily driver?
Just got my e-mail from Dave at Explorer Express,
"The 4.0 Mustang X-CHARGER is very near production. We are going to LA this week to finish the supercharger tuning.
Attached is a photo of our CA spec kit."
Here is the pic he included, (CA version), a newer angle to look at. [sm=burnout.gif]
X-Charger
*Edit, I don't know why the pic is so small, maybe just my settings, MF's, or photobuckets? lol
The pic he sent me is a decent size. If you would like the larger pic, PM me so I can e-mail it.
