Ya know... if I didn't have a house and a garage, I might not have bought the Mustang. I can't imagine owning one in my old apartment. I would be driving something far more sensible that I didn't mind getting dinged up.

Wow...I haven't even got my Stang yet (waiting for it to come in from the factory) and I've been thinking about the dangers of leaving it outside since I ordered it. Reading this thread has definitely got me thinking.

It's a little scary, the concept of suddenly owning a gorgeous car. Even aside from jealous people keying or egging...honestly, I've never been that worried about my previous cars all that much, but I really want to keep my future Mustang sweet-looking. Maybe I should start looking into one of those locking covers, even though I don't have the car yet. Any tips on where to look and what to look for?

You can get them through Ford but I would look online at California Car Covers

Yeah, I hear ya man. My fear was realised just now when I go out to my car to find a 1 inch scrape off of the paint on my front bumper.
As I was checking the culprit in front, the biatch comes out. Of course she denies it and goes on to tell me her sob story about her banged up Acura TSX.

So yeah look after it because other careless ***** won't think twice about dinging it and walking away. 2 weeks I have had it...ARGGGGGHHHHHHH

On an easier not I guess some touch up paint is in order...any recommendations?

Thanks
