Default Running the 1/4 mile

When you racers are running the 1/4 in a manual are you speed shifting? How hard is it on the trans?

Default RE: Running the 1/4 mile

I'm not an expert,

but heres my input; speed shifting in daily driving is bad for you transmission period. Speed shifting at the track isn't as bad b/c your not doing it that often. i believe you'll be fine as long as you don't speed shift in daily driving conditions. Correct me if i'm wrong.
