Default Zaino wax

Hey again. I bought some Zaino wax last year for my wife's MDX. Never got around to applying it. Nwo that my 06 convertible is here, I'd like to do it. But I think you to remove the dealer wax. Someone suggested using a dishwashing detergent to do it. IS there a better way, does anybody have experience applying it??

Jerry

Griots makes a wax remover. you dont need it though unless you want to use it but i see no reason but to waste money. and ive never heard of zaino wax but i assume you apply it like every other wax. "wax on (dry hazing) wax off) or read the directions for more specific instructions

dish washin detergent is horrible for your finnish. Too (basic or acidic- can't remember) but it f#*ks your finish up. Just wait till the dealer wax wears off. Shoudlnt be long-- dealers dont use the best wax on the market!

Bull **** flag! Just use Dawn Dishwashing Liquid. It will remove your old wax and WILL NOT harm the clearcoat. Just make sure you put the zaino on immediately after drying the car.

Yea, the dealer told me dish soap was the safest thing for the clear coat.

I used Dawn too. Just make sure you rinse it off real well and don't let it dry on the car.
