Ok guys got my new 06 V6 now she must have duals. My primary concern is sound, deep and throaty, some additional horseys would be nice of course.

I have looked at the MRT's but not impressed as they are only a change of muffler.

So now the ever popular question, what do I need? X pipe h pipe etc? and what am I looking at as a final installed price ( ballpark)??

check the sticky, probably 450.00 and up depending on how far you go, I'm at about a grand with mine.

Well I had put a flowmaster 40 series on right after i bought mine and hated it. Drove it around for 3 weeks and ended up loving it. Went and had gt take off duals put on yesterday with an H pipe and I hate it> The single flowmaster i had was louder than the duals. Going back on monday and having dual flowmasters put on. Dont know if this helps at all but there you have it

for duals mufflers is preference. but as far as pipes go:

Deepest to highest pitched: prochamber, h pipe, x pipe, y pipe, single pipe.
