Popping noise after lowering kit

Popping noise after lowering kit
I had my 05 conv lowered by a good shop. After a few days the right front started making popping sounds on turns. I took it back and they removed strut and lubed upper tower. The sound went away for a couple of days, guess the grease wore off. I noticed there is a TSB related to this. Should I take to dealer or back again to shop? The dealer will probably blame it on the Eibach pro-kit.
Comments or suggestions? Thanks!

I had the same problem, the first time the dealer replaced the strut bushing but the next time they said since they didn't do the lowering kit they would not honor the warranty. I had to have the dealer replace my Springtech springs with Eibach (beacuse that is what the dealer uses) in order to preserve the warranty. Expensive lesson; have the dealer do your mods or no warranty.

i know a guy who lowered him car, and even though his wheels did not hit the fenders while going strait or not moving, if he went around turns a bit fast, his wheels would tap his fenders and make a poping sound

Thanks for all the input, I will contact the dealer tomorrow and see what they say. It's already there anyway getting a brand new top, courtesy of ford. There was a small hole on the outside piping on the lower passenger side. Ford opted to replace the tan top. I asked for black, they said no had to stay the same for warranty pruposes? I will let you know how it goes.

I picked up my car from the dealer, it was 57 here in Dallas today, the dealer couldn't duplicate the popping. I test drove with the service writer and the popping has vanished. Waiting for warm temps to see if it comes back. New top looks awesome. They had my car for 6 days.

RE: Popping noise after lowering kit
After warm-up the popping has returned, I have decided to un-lower my car and put back the stock springs. I miss the smooth ride. I am also going to order a hellwig rear sway bar to compensate the turns.
