Giving the V6 even more of a retro look

RE: Giving the V6 even more of a retro look
The honeycomb fill between the lights is what I was talking about, not the light overlays.
ORIGINAL: 05 Silvertible
The numbers on my back window are the Nascar numbers for Clint Bowyer who drives the AC Delco car in Busch and the 07 Jack Daniels car in the Nextel Cup. He used to work in the bodyshop of the Ford dealer who I bought my Mustang from here in Emporia...talk about a local small town kid done good. He was working one day in the shop and Richard Childress called him to set up a meeting. Next thing ya know he drives the Busch series full time last year and finishes second in points and they give him a cup ride this year in the 07 and he is driving full time in both series this year! nuff about that....
My billet fuel door is polished chrome look...I dont want to buy another one, I thought if I put the chrome door handles on it would balance the car and stop with the chrome. Should I just stop now and leave the poloshed billet as is? I agree the fuel door stands out and thought the handles would take some attention from the fuel door.
I like the honeycomb tailight overlays...what about the honeycomb fill in between the lights?

Here's what the rear end of mine looks like (I since added the 3dCarbon ducktail, but no pics yet).
I have the SilverHorseRacing honeycomb panel (bought on ebay for $140 total) and stick-on "MUSTANG" letters (about $20 including shipping; from John's Mustang, I think)
Both attach with included 3m adhesive. Prepping the surface is easy with a good wash to remove grease/wax and then a final rubdown with isopropyl alcohol. The hard part is making sure everything is lined up straight!

That saleen is so retro it makes me fill like I'm about to hear from the draft board like I did in 1970. Greetings you are here buy ordered to report to your local draft board for induction into the United States Armed Forces. Anybody remember that letter?
