Fangs on my Vert!

Fangs on my Vert!
Here's the new Fang Chin Spoiler installed on my vert. Painted it myself for $12 worth of Duplicoat's Black Trim Paint. It sprays on easy without overlaps. Dries to a nice satin sheen. This spoiler is first class, and mounts easy. I like the way it firms up the front end. For $250 it is the best chin spoiler for the V6 Mustang.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
That looks so good! I might even be more excited than you right now!
Just ordered my GT rear bumper; gonna paint the bottom lip same color as the fang chin spoiler (and rocker panels) so the continuation goes all the way from front to back.
Any more pics? What about details on the painting process (sanding? primer? how many coats? etc.)
Beautiful car, man!

RE: Fangs on my Vert!
The spoiler is hand layered fiberglass, that is finished with a black gel coat. I sanded the surface with 600 grit sandpaper, then degreased. I then applied six coats of the Duplicoat trim paint. In between coats I lightly sanded again with the 600 grit. Paint goes on super easy. This way if I get rock chips, just the black gel coat will only show. It will be easy to unbolt and repaint every few years if needed. The only part that might intimidate some is drilling the six mounting holes in the facia. No big deal though, looks awesome. It maintains the same facia height off ground.

RE: Fangs on my Vert!
Just ordered mine today! Should arrive next Wednesday or Thursday...
I'm also waiting for my GT bumper to arrive from V6mustangstuff. I'm going to sand and paint the lower lip on that to match the rockers too. That way I'll have the flat black continued all the way around.
Can't wait!
