Default Stampede Edition?

I knew about the California Edition of the V6 Pony Package, but this is the first I heard of a "Stampede Edition" in Oklahoma and Texas.

Anyone else know these?

What exactly sets it apart as a special edition, besides a badge? I mean, I've seen before where certain dealerships (one dealer or a group of dealers) will buy cars with a specific set of factory options and designate it a "special edition" vehicle; but realistically, it's a car that anyone could get if you requested the same set of options that are available through any dealer. I don't know if that's the case with this car, but I don't see anything "unique" like with the CS's hood and side scoops. It looks to me like a '06 V6 Vert with stripes.

I posted some pictures of one on another Ford forum, can't seem to recall which one!! I took the pics at the Dallas Auto Show. This "limited edition" will be 500 units. It is basically a V6 Pony Package with hood & deck stripes, a chrome exhaust tip and a special badge on the trunk & center dash that says "Stampede Edition". The dash plaque also has the sequence number (x of 500). It certainly didn't look like much to get excited about.

I saw two of them at my dealership last weekend. One had a production no. under 150. they both had the carbon fiber stripe across the top of the dash instead of the alum. stripe.

The Stampede looks just like the California Edition, just a crappy dash-badge (Stampede) is the difference. I could understand if this was like the old Yenko Camaros, but this is dumb.
