I just got my stang back from the dealership with my new My Color dash installed. Thanks to afixer for the instructions and Ed Olson from Y2K Ford in Seattle WA for setting me up with the parts. With parts shipping and installation it cost $388. Now I can say I have my dash set to violet [sm=happybounce.gif]

wow.. did u have the wires or they have 2 put everything in ... like i know if u have the wires behind the buttons then u can do it but how was it on urs?

i would like 2 add that 1 day, lol

you can actually get the custom lite gauges aftermarket? did not know that. congrats dude. i have mine set to either red or white with a hint of blue in her. just depends on the mood

My car was already wired for the buttons. I pryed of the fake one that came with the car and there they were.

The dash is an actual Ford part, not aftermarket.

Details Details. Do you have part numbers etc....my dealerships down here are a$$holes and will not help with these type of things.

Yeah I seen that but it didnt have the IUP button or a part number for it. Is that all you needed was the cluster and IUP button?

i wonder how hard it is to do a self install how do i see if my car is wired for my color??

Pull off the false panel to the left of the cigarette lighter. If it has a wiring harness attached to the back of it, your good to go.

As far as a self install, I dont think that is possible, unless you work for Ford of course and have access to the tools.
