Default I got a minor problem... meybe electrical

or at least I think it is. K I went to get a cd out of my car like about an half hour ago and I came back out to the garage just to look at her for some wierd reason lol ( just washed it today) and the dome lights were still on?? I though huh, so I check all the doors and the trunk. Closed, so I get in the car to see if my lights were on and they were not. So I started the car and and I figured they would dim and nothing!!! I felt them and they were hot as hell, like they had been on all day? Im starting to trip out, I have no clue so I just disconnected the battery cable about 10 min ago. Im gunna reconnect it in a few minutes to see if they still stay on. I hope this is nothing serious!! Has anyone had any experiences like this?

If this presists then I'll haft to take here to Ford

yes they do, if you washed your car you prob. moved the dimmer switch to the on position for the lights inside.

That is really strange, because I've noticed that even if you leave the door open on a new Mustang the lights will still go out after a while. You may have a bad relay. Definitely take it to the dealership.

I assume you've already checked to make sure the lights aren't turned on via the dimmer switch as Fazm mentioned (wheel next to the light switch, roll it all the way up until it clicks and the inside lights stay on all the time).
