Default Changed Spark plugs... Excessive Wear!!!

I just changed the plugs to the NGK 7060 T R 5-1. Was very easy (of course with the six there is enough room to move )

Here are the pics of the old plugs. The drivers side tips came to points... (on the left in the pics, 4,5,6) the passenger side looked normal. The old plugs are Motorcraft Platinum AGSF 24PGM. I purchased the car used (program) so I do not know if these are the original plugs or not. I have 21,500 miles on the car now. The car does seem to sound a bit better with the new plugs, but that could be just me. I also reloaded the 93 Octane tune from Evo Perf. on my SCT so it will reset the computer to run with the new plugs.

Any comments on the state of the old plugs? Are they original? Should they look like this (worn?) or is there something else I should look into? I wonder why they are different only on the one side?

Thanks

Lets see if this is a better shot... the one on the left is plug 4 on the drivers side, and comes to a point... the one on the right is plug 3 on the passenger side...

Wierd. The factory service manual calls for AGSF24FM exclusively, but the 2005 Ford Manufacturers Data Sheet calls for just what you found. I don't know what to think. Here's the page from the factory service manual.

I changed them just because I wanted to (Since I purchased used...) and since I had reached over 20k in mileage...

I am VERY glad I did now!!... If I had a V6 nearing 10k or more I would check them... cannot hurt to check... and for $10 for the NGK it is a cheap checkup!

Please, anyone let me know if you find the same setup... and how they look...
