Default Question about the New ICE polish turtle wax......

They said you can put it on chrome to make it shine and polish the rims. I just bought the polish and spray detailer. They told me the detailer is not the official wax, just to use between washed to make the ice wax more stronger and to keep the shine. I have chrome rims and want to know if anyone tried it yet on chrome? Should I use regualr chrome polish, or the new ice one? Should I polish the chrome with both the Polish and the detailer? Any help would be aprresciated. I dont want to mess up and dull my new 1k chrome rims, but I def need a wax polish for them.

I use MEGUIAR products and have found that their detailer product works well on a recently waxed car. It does nothing more then restore some shine and bring back a little of the wax until the next application of wax/polish. It does NOTHING to an unpolished portion of a car.

I bought the detail spray bottle for 10 bucks. Did my hood and it looks ok. I ran my finger over it and it was not smooth - not like a fresh coat of meguires. I have to say that I liked it on the inside doors and dash. It cleaned the dirt and some water stains (from rain getting in).

I wouldn't buy it for the exterior paint - go for real wax instead.

it worked great on my car and it has been raining 3 days since I used it. The water is still beading off perfectly.
