Default Pony Package 17in Billet Rims

I was leaving a bank that I don't usually go to today and there curb or something was poored way longer than I expected and I curb checked my drivers rear tire...Anyways I got a bit of a scrape to the outer most edge of the rim...it's not bad, in fact if you weren't looking for it you probably wouldn't notice it. I however will notice it EVERY damn time I wash my car and then proceed to polish my rims. SO does anybody have any idea what a new rim to match would set me back, or seen any anywhere bargain basement?? Also was thinking about after I get a new rim about getting another full size tire and putting that on my scuffed rim, anybody know if our spare wheel well will fit a full sized tire?? Let me know. Thanks

P.S. needless to say I will avoid that bank AND pay alot more attention to the curbs in tight places.

Sorry to hear about the wheels. The 05 that I bought was used and had a few rim scratches. I got brave with some high number sandpaper and sanded the scratches out and then polished the #$%^ out of it until I got the scratches to disappear (I have the 16 inch premium wheels). I used SIMICHROME to bring back the luster and the repair has held up nicely. It sounds like you could do the same without ruining the existing wheel.

If you choose to buy a new wheel, SALEEN and some of the other companies that modify MUSTANGs will sell you "take-offs" cheap (KAR KRAFT has a web site). I plan on replacing my wheels AND tires with take-offs when the tires go bad. Good luck.

Thanks, I might look into trying that. If I'm feeling brave enough at least LOL
