I haven't ran with the 4.10's yet but with the 3.73's I ran 12.5's. I didn't powershift so I might could of pushed a little more

Hey man no disrespect. I was calling him a "boy" because of his age, Im just saying if he has a saleen s/c gt he should be putting better numbers than that. But Im sure with pratice he'll get better.

By the way nice looking 6er.

no worries it was just kinda funny . and yes he needs lots of practise. i was teasing him last week when he said he installed it. i told him he only did it because he didnt want me to beat him. funny thing was that it didnt matter. he was telling me last week i should shift for it. but i didnt. when we got back he said boy that auto sure gives you an advantage

i can take gt's at the track up to bout 40 or 50mph, but gearing has a lot to do with that. Also the sticky tires.... suspension.. haha.
Not a chance, i have the exact same car and my bro in law has an 06 gt, and even with all the bolt ons there are the stock gt will still out run ours 6's, i cant beleive bolt ones will allow u to "take" a gt, not a chance.

Paul
Not a chance? tell that to the gt's i go to the track with that dont pass me until 200-400 feet left to go. My car runs consistent 14.5's Most of the manual/auto gt's that are stock around here are running 14.0-14.5 because we have ****ty gas in arizona, and our track is 1243feet. At sealevevl my car would be running 14.34-14.4, and even better if i could get some real gas, not mtbe or ethonal crap. Remember, the gt's have upper end like crazy compared to our 6's. The gears help me out a lot in the 0-60mph department. I've cut 2.01 60' times, when most gt's are in the 2.2 or 2.3, so that means they are playin catch up from the getgo. Yes, a gt CAN go 0-60 in 5.1, but look around, who's actually done it? Everyone i know with a stock gt was struggling to get 5.5's some even to get IN the 5's. Stock i got a 6.7, then with intake and sct2 i got a 6.36. Havent done it since that, but combine the mods i have now (lca's, DR's, UCA, short shifter, gears, posi traction, headers, exhaust, dynotune, etc etc) im pretty sure up to 40 or 50 (which is all i claimed) im just as fast if not faster than a stock gt.

well im going to copy ALL of ur mods and race my bro inlaw again, but... big doubts are in my mind about "taking" him even up to 30mph, but ill post how i get on, didnt want to rip on u or anything i try to get along with everyone, just saying i think a male horse would stand a better chance of giving birth to a fully grown turky than u beating a gt just with bolt ons.

Are you sure he was talking about an '05 GT? My girlfriends '95 GT and my '06 V6 are just about as fast as one another.

How can you tell when a car salesman is lying?

When you see his lips moving.

you realize a s/c is a bolt on right? lol...bolt ons can do alot to cars man, just look at the wrx's...a good tune and a full turbo-back (up and down pipes, mid/test pipe, cat back) can yield over 300hp and can get close to sti times...he has a slip for a 14.5 at a high elevation. I really have no doubts that if he is running those times he can keep up with a gt at first.
