Hmmmm, wide aftermarket wheels that match the V6 polished version...
I just ran across an interesting wheel option, look at the "2005 Mustang Wheel - Dante Designs":

These wheels look just like the stock polished aluminum V6 mags. I really like the look of my wheels, but would love to have some fatter meats out back. It might be cool to keep the stockers on front and put these 17x9's out back with some bigger tires. Anyone know anything about these wheels? The look to match the stockers in appearance perfectly.

They suggest a tire size of 275/40-17. That's almost 11" wide! The stock tires are 8 1/2". I'm not sure how the aspect ratio works out between this one and stock, I'm going to check that this evening.

Thanks for the info Rygen, do you think the 50's would fit OK? Is that what you've got? I can't seem to figure the sizes out, if the middle number is the ratio of height to width then on my stock tires (215/65-16) the sidewall should be 65% of 275 mm or 5.5". But when I measure them they have 4.5" sidewalls. What am I doing wrong? Is the sidewall number before inflation? It seems the tires tend to "squat" after they're installed & inflated.
This is what I measured on the stock tires:
Stock 215/65-16.... 25.75" high x 8.4" wide x 4.5" sidewall
The 275/40-17 is supposed to be 25.66" high which would be a 4.3" sidewall, pretty close to the stock sidewall it would seem, but again I don't trust my numbers [:@]
PS, I should have mentioned that what I'm looking for is height and sidewall as close to stock as possible. The swap would mainly be to give some extra width on the back tires for a little more aggressive look
