picts of exaust please!
i have a v6 and i am sure there is a "y pipe " for the exaust to make it a single exaust. i am EXTREMELY interested in the magnaflow exhaust. for warranty reasons i obvoiusly want to keep the catilytics. does anyone one how the current piping differs from an aftermarket exaust?

RE: picts of exaust please!
all depends on the manufacturer. Generally aftermarket will be louder and more performance geared than stock, most people claim 5-10 HP with a new muffler alone. Some loose 2 or 3 horsies when going dual, but generally a crossover solves the problem. When i said it differs by manufactuer i mean they all have their own style. For instance, Borla promotes the material they use (T-304 Stainless steel) and the crisp sound they create. Magnaflows arent my top pick, but most of the people who have them love them. Scrming wasn't one of those people lol... he switched to MRT which seems to be a big hit around here..

ok your stock setup is this.
comes out of the manifold into a cat on each side of the engine, then there is a y pipe on the right side of the car(passenger) and it goes out the back
aftermarket (or custom) (duals mind you) will come straight out of the cats, straight back over the wheels and out each side. Then you WILL want a cross overpipe like an X or an H pipe.
hope that helps. get under and look! lol
