Default Don't user O/D on back roads

Well, I don't remember who gave the tip on the forum, but while tooling around on back roads, someone suggested turning off overdrive for better performance. Well, I just tried it, and it made a big difference. As I was winding the back roads, it made a big difference to not be in O/D.... when I hit the gas winding around a corner, it was much more responsive and did not need to shift down.

it did not shift down becauseyou were still in 4th.. there is no performance gain from it being on overdrive or not.. dont waste your time.. leave the overdrive on.. same performance better milage

No, it wasn't still in 4th... if I kicked off the O/D button while entering the turn, it jumped up 800 RPM and clearly shifted out of O/D.
