If this is your first mustang then it might just be sounds you arent used too, like clutches in mustangs even back in the earlier models you were able to clearly hear them engaging and disengaging. The clutches are very noisy in alot of mustangs.

Still waiting for the dealership to finish their tests.......

Josh if you came to a stop after the car is warm and put it in neutral .... Do you hear the clutch still "half way engaged" like a metalic friction noise?.....

That is my latest "noise" ....

anyways, I hope they tell me something good, I have exactly the same issue that you describe... ...will post findings.

Start out by going back to your dealership and if they still jerk you around ask them for the number of the reg.ser.rep. Sometimes this is all it takes to get them off their ***.

Well,

Dealer called....[:@]

It is normal operation, "We can not do anything untill it gets worse".......

Asked if the Headers, Exhaust Mod will viod the warranty......

"If you throw a rod.... or break a head.... more than likely the adjuster will say it may have been caused by the Mod....."

by the way....just replacing from Cat Back..... no issues with the warranty.

Asked if the tranny and or drivetrain fails... would the Mod's affect the warranty....said NO..

I purchased the extended 6yr 60,000 mile coverage....

I guess I'll wait until it brakes and then I'll take it in for replacement.........

I will try tomorow on the way to work to see if i here something like that. Thanks everyone. As for the shifter i asked a few more people and they said also thats the way these cars are.when the car warms up easier to shift but alot stiffer when cold, maybe tight tolerances?Maybe it needs to brake in?

I think the car runs rough sometimes off and on.Seemed ok most of today but then though maybe its the fuel.Seems like it has a slight miss fire. But it doesnt have any codes so its hard to prove.
