PCV Valve = Non-existant?

Actually, most cars have a PCV valve. It is a sort of check-valve that's supposed to let air through, but not liquids.
It appears our cars do not have one at all.......

@blackfoot
Sorry, but that's not entirely correct. Read this:

Basically, you're right, vacuum helps draw the air out, but the valve is not supposed to even open unless there's positive pressure in the crankcase. The valve is designed only to let air and vapors out, not oil. If you have unusual amounts of oil in the vent line going to the intake, it's usually an indicator of a bad PCV valve.
In my case. There is not one there. I looked at that PDF file, and it certainly shows one there, but mine's not like that. The one in the PDF even shows an electrical connector. When I disconnect the elbow, there is a nipple coming out of the valve cover, but no valve inside, and definitely no electrical connector.
My guess is that the PDF afixer attached is for the California model....

Good. We need this kind of discussion, since so many of us are going FI. This is a problem that trancends different makes of superchargers. As long as your SC kit routes that vent line back into the intake, the potential for problems due to engine oil getting in places it's not supposed to (intercooler, MAF sensor, etc...) is something that'll affect all of us.

Ok, I just got off the phone with Ford. I never even bothered to look, but my car is a California model (damn), so that shatters the theory that I don't have a PCV valve because it's a 49-state model.
He was a bit perplexed as well, but he said it's not the first time he's heard of a car w/o a PCV valve. Makes it even funnier to see the valve plain as day in that PDF file....
Oh well, I'm just gonna order that oil separator from Steeda.

Bizarre. Here's a few pictures of mine. It's pretty clear I don't have one.

I just got off the phone with ProCharger. The instructions give very clear directions on how to reroute the tubing. It says the "factory plastic PCV tube from the driver's cylinder head".
How can this be if the PCV tube runs from the "passenger's" side. Anyway, James at ATI is researching it now. Maybe I'll get a prize for finding a discrepancy in the manual.
