RSX type S
Just raced one. Five times. Once from a roll and the rest from a dig. I was being very irresponsible so don't do it...ever.
From a roll he easily pulled ahead but I stayed locked 1/2 of his car length behind the front of his car (my front was in his middle) and neither or us could move faster and no one lost acceleration. It was a lock.
From a dig we were what seemed exactly matched speed and acceleration wise. Whoever hit the gas first won so it was no easy killing. I would pull ahead at first but he would easily catch up at around 30-40. Every time we left the light and got to the next one it was too close to tell who won (he some I some), but we were within less than a couple inches of eachother whoever won.
I only have a GT muffler and a FRAM Airhog filter, which Im sure didn't do a WHOLE lot, but I also had two 12s in the trunk which definitly did not lighten the load. He had an exhaust and some other upgrades, I could tell it wasn't stock.
Stock for stock I hope we would win but it was a lot quicker than I was expecting with its lack of torque compared to us, but graNTED IT IS A MUCH SMALLER CAR with only 9 less HP. Great race and I love my car.

RE: RSX type S
I had a type S before the Mustang...they have great top end, in fact all their power is top end, they are light, and take to mods well...a majority of lightly modded 05-06's on Clubrsx.com are in the mid 14's. Easy to underestimate, but don't. The base models are dogs however.

about 50 HP! lol. The base has 155 w/ 139 tq and the type s has 201 w/ 140 tq. Its basically the difference between a V6 and a GT mustang, cept their GT can't beat my 6 very easily . completly different cars suspension and engine wise.

RE: RSX type S
what would a completely bolted on rsx run? the reason I ask is because a kid with a civic hatch and H22 was talking a little bit of smack to me, but i saw him run an rsx and it was pretty close between them, so worst case is the rsx had complete bolt ons. I think i can still take the civic, but those honda motor swaps are so hard to judge.... [>:]
