Couple of things...

Pick up a issue of this month 5.0 magazine... There is a nice write up by PHP on installing the Vortech in an V6. I actually seen this car in person... very nice indeed! The gentleman said they car is consistently running 13.5 on STREET tires! Not to shabby!

If you shop can install a procharger, they sure as heck better be able to install a Vortech! LOL! And you don't tap into the oil pan... you actually tap a whole in the timing cover.

Here is the actual install manual from Vortech: http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/...u218_v6_im.pdf

While you're there... Vortech has some interesting articles... of course they are from Vortech so perhaps you need a grain of salt... but they are interesting none the less...

Head to head: http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/...1sc_report.pdf

Air-Air vs Air-Water: http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/...oler_paper.pdf

Is that the feed or return line? The instructions I saw for a Vortech had you tapping one of the holes(no w, lol) in the engine block! Unless they have changed it. This was instructions that Forced(guy from Vortech) posted. FYI.

From the Vortech install guide...

For the oil supply line you simply put a Tee in where the oil pressure sending unit is:

The oil drain is the one that requires a new hole. It's goes in the timing cover: (The 5.0 article has a better pic)

Ok, my bad then! That looks pretty easy. I like the way they do that.
