yep it happens. just oil it regularly. Ford is famous for it. Nothing you can do about it but care for it often and with a good product.

I also use meguiars but mine is in a little can like baby wipes. It's suposed to clean and condition and smells pretty good too. You definitly want to use it often especially if you live in a hi humidity area. I use it everytime I wash my car.

Lexol cleaner and then conditioner. It is absolutly the best, it's what most horse people use to clean and condition very expensive tack.

I use good old, SADDLE SOAP. It's available anywhere where you buy shoe polish and it's very reasonable. You wipe it on with a damp rag, let it dry for fifteen minutes or so and buff off. I put some of the spray ARMOR-ALL leather protectant on over top and done. The gray leather in my 05 is very thick and soft. The leather in my 01 ESCAPE is crap, but responds well to the same procedure. The creases are normal on most cars with leather (I was in a friend's SAAB the other day, he has the same situation).

I also concur on the LEXOL, have used it in the past on leather goods (I ride motorcycles and have done leather jackets with that product).
