the car dosent leave me broke i make enough i just dont the straight up cash for **** anymore like i afford to fill up 3 times a week and eat out at restaraunts everynight and buy random little **** but just not like 500 bucks laying around to buy a tuner CAI
Few people do. But is it really worth it to by something for $500 on a credit card and spend the next several years paying for it. And there's also the fact that conservatively that $500 tuner and CAI will wind up costing you at least $600+. Ain't compound interest a pain?

You'd be better off setting the money aside a bit at a time. You'll be suprised how quickly you'll reach your goal.

But of course, you are at that age where reason and logic is at a premium. I know it sounds harsh, and please don't get offended, but those of us with a few years on know you are at the age where you're going to do what you want and to hell with what anyone says. So good luck and remember the harshest lessons you'll learn go hand in hand with the easiest and laziest decisions you'll make.

Cut Up that card or stash it away for emergencies only! You've got your whole life ahead of you and and can get into SERIOUS money troubles if you start abusing the plastic now. My wife and I both work, and although I haven't done any mods to my car, we paid off our house and 13 acres in 10 years and had a 30 year mortgage! So here I am at 36 and own my home while most of my freinds are up to they're eyeballs in credit card dept. Kepp driving the stock mustang and enjoy it and focus on that education.

haha this thread is kinda funny. Im 19 myself. Ive had my credit card since I turned 18 a year and a half ago. Its really not that hard to spend wisely and pay the card off in full. When I first started out my credit limit was $600, a year and a half later my credit limit is at 2k and all 3 of my credit scores were between 710-715, and that was b4 i bought my stang 1 month ago, now its even higher. Just teens need 2 sit down 1 night and write out what their income is and how much they can afford. Once you see on paper you know the ballpark figure of what your limit is. I pay my card off in full every month that the bill comes. I do pay allot of $ right now for insurance. like 400 sumthin cuz my insurance wasnt open the day i bought my car, and they wouldnt let me drive it off the lot w/ out insurance, so i had 2 do inhouse insurance(what an Fin rip). But besides that you guys dont need 2 b parents on us young guys, we have parents. lol. i dunno where im going w/ this anymore but ya...oh ya just pay off your cards in full and budget what you can spend. and youll b fine
