anybody that experienced drone after installing duals with h pipe can you please enlighten me as to how to get rid!!!???

man how bad is the drone in these cars?? lol everyone complains lol Get JBA's they sound good and there is literally no drone!! and they make a stainless steel set up now.

i really dont care about the drone just turn the music up....or offset some resonators about 1 to 2ins i thinks

red's got the idea. If you put the mufflers at even length, they will be resonating at the same frequency at the same location. When the soundwaves meet, you will hear drone. By offseting the mufflers, you get noise cancelation that will eliminate the drone.

there will be no drone with the h pipe duals if you get chamber mufflers

but there will be drone if you get flow through mufflers
mrt, borla, slp loudmouths/powerflows
resinators spaced 3 inches appart with flow through mufflers will git rid of the drone
you will never ecperence drone with a single axelback muffler

I am calling BS on that one! I have flows and a H pipe and between 2- 3k all i get is DROOOOOOONE!! but the resonators will be here soon.

I've heard of people having luck putting offset glasspacks mid car to eliminate the drone.

All I have are dual glasspacks with no cross-pipe, but my glasspacks are mid car instead of all the way at the back like the stock muffler is.

In place of the muffler I have 21" Silverline tips.

I have no drone what-so-ever, and the car sounds awesome.

Had a local muffler shop install them for me for something like $240-260ish. Couldn't be happier.

Not american thunder, I got series 40's and will had resonators this weekend with a 3 inch offset. Dont get me wrong they sound great above 3k or any time they arnt actually pulling the car (rev rev). The resonators should provide a deeper drone free sound.
