meguiars nxt seems to be the best that i have used so far. Not the spray kind but the actual wax kind. I dont believe you can wax your car too much either. Also it really helps to clay your car right from the starts gets all the dirt, sap, all that stuff out, makes it even smoother. Did miracles too my paint.

For the wax on the black parts, try wiping them with ARMOR-ALL and then wiping it off. It should solve the wax problem and give you a sharper appearance for the rockers.

I think you CAN wax too much. In the beginning, you can do multiple layers. But if you go overboard with wax, I think you might suffer from buildup and it could get cloudy (more on a darker car).

When I have the time (I'm retired, so I have the time), I do my SATIN SILVER with MEGUIARS number 5. This is a product that will take out wax swirls and really minor imperfections without taking off the clear coat. After I do that, I like MEGUIARS number 26 paste. This is a good quality carnuba wax with exceptional gloss and NO abrasives. When I'm done with that, I finish the job by lightly (very lightly) misting on some MEGUIARS detailing spray and wiping it down.

I used to find it hard to get gloss out of silver, now with these products and the addition of a factory clear coat, my 05 glistens.

Mothers makes a product called back to black. I bought it but havent tried it yet. I need to use it on the black plastic trim around the windows. Stuff like Armor All works but Im not sure if it works permenenty.

Good to hear that works. I just bought a bottle of the stuff last night.

The "Back to Black" by Mother's works great. Took all the wax off the black trim on my last car.
