Default Lowering Questions.

Ok, I've never lowered a car or owned, or for that matter driven, a car that has been lowered. I know several of you suggest lowering the mustang.
I do like the lowered look, but don't dislike it at the stick height.
So this is really only something that I would consider doing if it also adds to the drivabilty
So here are my questions...
Why do this?
Is it just for appearance?
Or is there improved handling in doing so?
.

The handling of the car dramatically increases over stock ride height by centering the point of gravity

The look of the vehicle increases by getting rid of that rediculous wheel gap that makes it look like its 4wd.

Using the eibach prokit springs for about 200 bucks you will be very satisfied.

How much of a lowering does these springs do? And how much should be done? I hear that the Eibach lowers 1.2" front & 1.7" back is that really that noticeable? Should 2" or more be bettter?
