All right, so basically what you are saying, seriously, is that when it is all said and done, my car, when they drive it out of the garage, will look like this?

Good luck with the duals. It sounds like the concensus of the panel is H PIPE !!! I was nervous when I had just the GT takeoff put on, but now, I LOVE IT.
Good luck, lot's of good info on here. I discovered my RDS function on the radio last night after reading a blurb on here, almost wrecked reading the radio songs and station. Just kidding about almost wrecking.
Enjoy

On our cars, a cross over pipe (H, Y, X, etc.) won't net you more than 2HP, if even that. I know, I did a before and after dyno of the stock Y pipe to X pipe and got a whopping 2HP. And on a dynojet, 2HP can be attributed to anything, heat, air, etc.
So when it comes to duals, go with what sounds best. For the deepest sound, it is in this order:
1. Prochamber
2. H Pipe
3. X pipe or Y pipe
Straight through pipes make our cars sound like crap. Also, I have heard all of the above listed setups in real life, with various mufflers on the 4.0. However, this is my opinion, but most agree that the H generates the deepest sound.
One last point, if you plan to go Turbo, they will replace your piping with a 3inch Y pipe system anyway, so keep that in mind. For duals, they put another Y out the back to split into duals. So if you plan to go dual, you may just want to keep your single for now and not pay twice for piping.

Well, it's at the shop. Now I play the waiting game...cell should ring by 2 pm. He had a 69 charger in there on the lift. So that's a good sign, I hope. She will be ok though. I will light candles at church lol

teacherman,
What's the report? I've been worried SICK about you and your car all day. Hope it worked out OK. You're probably out in it right now.
