Default single exhaust

is there any way of getting some good performance out of a single exhaust setup? the reason I ask this is because I dont want to buy the GT bumper and I dont want to cut mine out...so I ask...is there any single exhaust setup that can give you 10rwhp or so like duals?

yeah... most of the singles are great for around 10rwhp... Magnaflow, JBA, Borla/Ford Racing... the MRT single probably has the highest gains out of all of them... and, it's probably the loudest! You can't go wrong with any of these choices.

The stock exhaust is pretty good. The biggest problem is the muffler. I have the Magnaflow and love it.

As Hamidlmt pointed out the MRT single axle-back has shown some pretty amazing gains. While we never dyno'ed my Maganflow, we calculated (and others have shown) that he Magnaflow was good for 10RWHP... the MRT showed an amazing 7RWHP gain OVER the Magaflow! That's 7RWHP at peak.... at 5500+ RPM the gain is more like 10RWHP! This thing is simply amazing!

Now as Hamidlmt pointed out... it's not for everyone... the MRT is loud! But for performance gain and price I don't think it can be beat!

Here is my write up, including pics, videos and dyno sheets!

yeah... the 286RWHP was with a 125HP shot of N20... made few passes at the track... and then proceeded to break a piston... oops!

If you are looking to go single you HAVE to read scrming's opinion on his site. If I were to go single I would have done that.

Oops, he al ready posted it lol
