I went with Doug because of his excellent reputation, great customer service and experience with 4.0L engines... he actually has my X-cal 2 right now, tweaking the tunes... firming up my shift points for the track.

I have not purchased tuner & CAI yet, but I heard a lot of good things from the guys at evolution:

I have the Evolution Performance tune for 93 Octane, and it is SWEET.... it seems most of the big tuners do a good job. I too was attracted to the fact that he had a good rep, and he charged $560 for C&L and tuner. Others charge $650 or even $700 for the same thing.

I have a 91 tune from Evolution as well. Very nice, though I may splurge and order a custom tune from Bama if I can figure out the whole download process.

Doug is good...
the reason i chose bamachips was because doug had a tune for my setup already...i guess u can say other people had the same setup as i did(Headers, c&l, x-pipe, duals, 3.73 gears) and so he had a tune that was checked, checked and re-checked for problems for all those people who got it..
