racing my Dad's car

RE: racing my Dad's car
erik I have been a FF/paramedic for 15 years. It doesn't make me a professional driver in a car. I can haul a 20 ton fire engine pretty well! LOL Have you had any mods to your car. A CAI and tuner from a shop(Lidio from alternative or Doug from Bamachips) will make it a drivers race. Just practice your launches. RWD gives you a great advantage on the takeoff. Good luck and let us know how it goes!

Guy at work just got a new Altima SE-R, it's pretty quick...not to mention a very nice ride, both inside and out.
If you mod and he's stock i think it will be close, else i thik he wins.

RE: racing my Dad's car
well I am going to race him in september, by then I will have my exhaust and CAI / Tune. He was just trying to intimidate me and I dont think he was really serious about the whole professional driver thing...he just likes to get me going lol.
My brother will be there and can video tape it for me and I will post it. He wants to Race as well, he got one of these....
Its a Yamaha R6 which weights an amazing 357 lbs redlines at 17,500 and does 0-60 in 3 seconds...ROFL...he would get to the end and have enough time to go to tim hortons, get a coffee, come back and drink it before we crossed the finish line. LOL

ORIGINAL: LX200
Who cares who wins the 1/4... in real life it's about getting up to 40, 50 or 60 MPH. That's where I want performance. I could care less that another car will pull away at 80 MPH....
