1. Anything by AC/DC (especially Thunderstruck, opening guitar rip)
2. Metalica
3. GNR
4. Any classic, hard rock, metal, etc.
5. Any texas or chicago blues (Steve Ray Vaughn, Crossfire is a great one)

Yea, I know, I'm old. I do listen to some of the new rock and hard stuff, as long as it has *****. Try to hand a boy band cd to me and you will pull back a bloody stump!

AC/DC (prefer the live stuff), HENDRIX, and my new love, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS. We have had some fun recently with an old CD of PAUL REVERE AND THE RAIDERS GREATEST HITS (it's a short album,LOL). GOOD STUFF. I miss CREED also.
I like your style!

It's kind of funny, I don't know how old anyone is here but most of us like the old rock. I don't know what I'm talking about, kind of drunk. Amazing(damn I can't spell). Anybody watch the History of Metal on VH1?
I'm a big classic, hard rock and metal fan. My wife caught it playing on VH1 and said I must watch it.

I like to cruise on the road to "Simple Man" by Skynard....Hendrix, AC/DC, Ozzie, GnR Pullin up to a red light blairing "sweet emotion" is always cool.

But What I REALLy like to do, I mean byond all things. I like to put my windows down and crank up "Barbie Girl". I just turn it up, and rip the **** off. People just point and stare in amazement. They laugh at it because it is so cool it drives them insane and they cannot deal with the coolness factor.[sm=loser.gif]
Man, that is right on!!!!! I'm with ya on that!

RYGEN....,

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I thought the RAIDERS CD would draw some comments. Most of the young guys probably have never heard of them or the music.

Currently in the Shaker:
Pearl Jam - Pearl Jam
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Stadium Arcadium (Disk 1)
Dispatch - Who Are We Living For?
Billy Squier - Classic Masters
Dave Matthews Band - Under the Table and Dreaming
Drive-by Truckers - either Southern Rock Opera or The Dirty South (I forgot which one)

- Any fan of Skynard should check out DBT. Awesome, gritty southern rock with some of the best guitar solos this side of the early '90s.
