RE: how much did u pay 4 ur pony??
Mine was around $30k after tax. It is completely loaded. The Shaker1000 adds about $1200 to it. I got side airbags which I could have lived without. I also got that "free maintenance" thing. My oil changes are free along with all other maintenance. That cost like $1000 or something. It seems like a lot but my last car while very reliable was insanely expensive at maintenance time. $1000 is a drop in the bucket.
The sucky thing was I could not talk the dealer down AT ALL on this car. The stupid "additional markup" thing really irked me, it was $4995 and I had to fight with the guy just to get him to drop it to $2000. They did give me more for my trade than I expected though. If there were car dealers all over selling loaded V6's at the time it would not have been an issue, but this was the ONLY loaded V6 on Ford's dealer inventory thing for anywhere within 30 miles of my house. Strangely despite the dealership now having tons of Mustangs, still very few of them are really loaded. The best they had a couple of weeks ago when I was there were some leftover California Edition ones, all with cloth seats and in colors I don't like. If I wanted a car loaded like mine in my favorite color, I still wouldn't be able to find one.
However, my car *is* paid for.
