better off buyin a gt? with a 4.5 turbo you could crank up the boost and probably put down 500-550rwhp... aint no GT going to come close to that lol. GT's in my area were 12-13k more than a v6.

well with the price that you would pay to make your engine 4.5 it would probably cost the same to get a GT, then f/i prices are pretty much the same for both the cars, so you could end up with a v8 turbo

never-the-less, having a 4.5 TT v6 would be pretty badass

ya, but ur talkin bout a forged v6 that is a safe 500rwhp, to get a gt to 500rwhp safely would also need to be forged, therefore sky rocketting its price as well. yes the gt is going to make more power with the same amount of money put into it, but i paid under 20k for my v6, and they wanted 33k for the only GT on the lot. i promise with less than 9k, im going to be much faster than a stock gt, as well as most bolted on GT's.

i dont know if powerhouse plans on doing anything for the v6, but i know of at least one GT they are building up and putting a turbo on, thats going to be one insane car. The main purpose is to see how far you can take the stock blocks.

I love what they are doing when it comes to seeing how far the can take the block better a million dollar company blow one up than me blow one up..........but FAZM you also made me realize............. yes the V6 could get to 500 rwhp but at the same time a gt with a procharger (which is 65% increase) would be pumping out 495 hp subtract 25% of that for the rear wheels and you would be looking at 372 rwhp so you are correct.........better off with the v6 stroked and S/C than a gt ..................so I take back my past comment maybe we would all be better off with V6, but then again the insurance companies would go under (bastards anyways).........also though with the stroked engine we could have 500 rwhp and a daily driver still.......thats only if you could afford the gas

well if you are going for 500rwhp on a 4.5 blown v6, it better not be your daily driver so gas shouldnt be a prob lol

the livernois mustang GT made 840 hp on 93-pump gas. its either in motor trend or car and driver i forget. but that is the most hp i have seen out of a new stang as of yet. i think it had 40,000$ in the engine and tranny.

I've heard rumors that Powerhouse is building a V6 with forged pistons to test 14+PSI. That should be a beast.
