uhh how about this....buy a very lightly used 03-04 cobra and put 1 grand into and make those same numbers for less money total. I just don't see a point in making a 210 hp motor make near 600 horses. Nothing would be able to handle it. Tranny cant handle 600, rear end cant, axle...over all to give this car that much power and still be able to run more than ten minutes would cost you more than 10 grand.

im not trying to beat a corvette of any kind. i wanna go for the guys who say a 6 isnt a true stang. im sure we all know of a few that think the 6 is beneath them. that a 6 will never beat an 8. i say thats garbage. for those peeps who swear up and down that their 8 is this bad monster thats who i wanna aim my power towards. i mean come on. a 4.5 6 cylinder. the stock 8 comes with a 4.6 liter so to me they will already be mad. not to mention its gonna have close to the same power of the 8 (im assuming on that. it may be a little less) then you take into consideration its a lighter motor because its 2 cylinders less and you actually stand a chance of taking these trash talkers to skool. yeah i agree that i could have gotten an 8 and boosted it but cost at the time was not be possible and in all reality you can only go so far on either the 6 or the 8. the material used to make the pistons just doesnt cut it. so yes i would be better off getting an 8 but then if i want gobs of power and then i would have to build it to take the abuse. for that i could replace the motor beefier then it was stock and the cost is about the same then doing a v8 swap.

yeah i agree....i mean boring out this block, slappin on a S/C or Tubro and making it put out over 500 HP is like my dream, but let's be honest....

you're gonna have to replace the ENTIRE rear end
More than likely the Tranny
probably the axle, control arms, driveshaft, etc.....
not to mention all the engine components (throttle body, fuel injection, pistons, rings, cams the list goes on and on)

The way this car is built, it just CANNOT handle that kind of power without large numbers of modifications.
basically by the time you get done making this the BEAST it can be, it would be so far from stock that the body and interior would be the only thing left from the original car
