most guys that buy mustangs cant afford a "daily driver", which is why they buy a mustang. If they had crazy money they'd buy a mustang as a daily driver, and a vette or something as a weekend car

haha very true....or they have the stang as a side car that they play with for fun

right now, because i am in school, i cant really afford ANY mode of transportation other than a bus pass. my parents bought me this car, and are paying for gas...but when i have to start paying for gas i dont think i can take it (13mpg is crazy for a student). right now i am looking into getting a bike, i have enough money for a used car, heck, even a used 04 GT, but my dad is really against used cars because he feels that previous owners probably abused them, rendering them unsafe. so right now, the bike seems like the best idea, good for traveling in the suburban areas and city areas, great on gas too. i dont think i have enough guts to take it out on the highways when raining, but i still have my stang for that. ...just gotta wait until i am 18 for the bike...no way in hell would my parents let me have one [:'(]

True...true!!!

Well...my stang is my toy! (the wife drives it maybe once a month or so-depending on weather) & I usually get haggled by the kids as to "can we take the stang?? Please" just for the sound & top down feeling! God... I love my sons...I shall call them "minnie mees"

She (wife) has a 05 Toyo Sequoia that we use as the family car...that damn thing is huge, I call it the RV...but it is a comfortable ride!
I had to mod hers a bit (just to keep her happy)...K&N drop in, lighted running boards, window tint & Window ventvisors

I would still buy a MUSTANG over most cars, including the more expensive rides. I learned to drive in one in 68 and have had one for most of the years that I have been driving.
