On a side note. Everyone might want to think about adding HAIL DAMAGE coverage to their ponies. Some people think this kind of thing is automatically covered. I had a car TOTALLED for hail damage in Oklahoma City years ago. Hail damage protection costs me 5 dollars a month in the DC area. Money well spent for those of us that dont garage store our babies. $500 deductible do have all the body/windows replaced cause Mother nature had a bad damn day! It's worth it to me. Hail Damage IS NOT coverd by ACT OF GOD stuff like a tree falling on car after it is struck by lightning. You might want to check into it.

Who do you have insurance with? I have Nationwide on everything. I need to check though about the Hail Damage coverage....it should be included.

I had a 2005 Mineral Grey V6 coupe that the previous owner had opened the gas door too far and put a dent in the quarter panel. My wife was at the Ford dealer for something and was told they could remove the dent with the paintless dent removal. They did and I couldn't tell the dent was ever there.

I had exactly the same thing in front of the fuel door on my used 2005 Mineral Grey V6 coupe and it was taken out with paintless dent removal. It seems to me that it was around $100. Then I traded for a new 2006 Tungsten Grey V6 coupe with Pony Package and Interior Upgrade. That was a waste of $100. Probably would have gotten the same trade-in with the dent still there.

Yesits quite possible, plastic bumper technology has gone a long way. Plastic welding, flexible fillers, are just a few methods used bringing plastic back too life.

This coming Dec. I want to take classes in Auto Body Repair. I've always wanted to learn how to paint and fix dents in cars.
