i think the mechanic switch the hangers by accident, lol

and its quiet because you got a muffler from an automatic.. my gt take off single is a loud mother, it sounds like the magnaflow dual system.. i had people ask me if it was magnaflow lol

I have dual gt take offs and they seem quite. I Have a guy at work that is telling me to have a set of glasspacks mounted mid car. I am thinking about it but i am getting tired at throwing money at the exhuast

first a COFFIN muffler
now the gt mufflers

when will it all end???

I have a single gt takeoff on mine and when I first put it on it sounded great. Mixed that with the mac headers and it sounded awesome, now that the muffler has broken in and mellowed out I think it's too quiet. I liked the roar I got before it broke in, now im wondering if there is a way to either get that back or if a different axle back will give me that sound even after the break in

well there are different mufflers from teh automatics to the manuals, 2 different part numbers to prove it, automatic gt take offs, are quieter than teh ones froma manual GT

Hello im new here. I just got my mustang a few weeks ago and the first mod i did was
put on a gt take-off. I have to agree with the other guys, the take-off was a direct fit.
It took me a whole 15 minutes to put mine on and i love the sound. I dont know what to tell you,
maybe you accidently got the wrong side.
