The nitrous is definetly the best bang for the buck. Like fazm said, it will cost you about $1000 for the nitrous, racers kit, and a dyno tune, but the difference is amazing. Right now I am using the 75hp jets and soon I will be jumping up to the 100hp jets. The car pulls really hard with just the 75 shot, I cant wait to see what times I can get with the 100 shot.

C&L Intake - $290.00
Nitrous - $550.00
Racers kit - $305.00
Dyno Tune - $150.00??

Total - $1,300.00

I would definetly reccomend getting a LSD, it will run you about $300.00. That will get you two wheels spinning instead of one. And get the SCT-Xcal 2, that will run you about another $400.00, so you are looking at right about $2,000 all said and done. Good Luck.

Your estimate is a little off. Lets fix it just a bit

Nitrous - $550.00
Racers kit - $305.00
SCT Xcal with intake - $550.00
Tlok - 200'ish plus install costs...another 200-300'ish, might as well get gears at the same time so 200'ish more - $600.00 or so.
Dyno Tune - about $80 an hour for dyno time and then whatever your tuner charges. - $150.00 ish

Total - $2155

This is if you want the nitrous to actually be effective to its full potential.
I believe some members have said $40-$50(considering that once you fill it the initial time you're not going to run it completely empty) to refill the bottle. I think nitrous runs 4.00 something per lb. and the bottle is 15lbs.

Well there is an activation switch to turn the system on, but you dont have to push any buttons to activate the nitrous, you just slam on the pedal. And furinox I was only off by $150.00 per your calculations. If you would have kept reading my post you would have seen that the total came to $2,000 instead of $1,300.

i dont know man. i am really against nitrous because seems really week of sombody to get that kind of hp. basically you are putting your car on the juice, pretty week, go by a supercharger or something. get some true power. if you still go with the juice, tell us how it goes.

i liked it when i had nitrous, but if you get it and want to use it on the streets, you definitly need the remote bottle opener.

you may want to consider doing something that always gives you power, not only when you "push the button". consider some things like CAI, exhaust, gears, and a tune before the nitrous

It worked great for me at the track. Nothing wrong with the juice. Can you define weak? Got some technical data to back up your opinion.
